Marie Curie Seminars

The SIE organises a series of seminars in order to showcase the research of Marie Curie Fellows at Ca' Foscari University and provide them with an opportunity to share their work with the Ca' Foscari community. The seminars are all in English and are organised with support from the International Research Office and the International College.

Some PhD programmes are collaboration between our University and local companies (Collaborative PhD Collaborative PhD).
Other PhD programmes are in convention with Italian Universities (Inter-University PhD Inter-University PhD) or with foreign Universities (International PhD International PhD) or with Research institutions (PhD in cooperation with istitutions PhD in cooperation with istitutions).

The interdisciplinary PhD programmes are shown in more than one area.

How long is a PhD Degree?

Minimum 3 years

Admission requirements

Masters degree or other study qualification which is recognised as being equivalent.  For certain PhD Programmes additional requirements may be called for – a degree qualification with a specific focus, for example; it is therefore necessary to read the application carefully.

English knowledge at B2 level mimimun is also required.

How to be admitted?

The PhD Degree is open to a limited number of students. The requirement is to pass a public selection process entailing the evaluation of academic qualifications, as well as of oral and/or written exams.
