The Specialist Master's Programme in Health Economics and Management analyses the following subject areas:

  • Guiding principles
  • Economic analyses of healthcare systems
  • Governance of Italian healthcare system
  • Social and Healthcare integration
  • Management of public health authorities
  • Management of private health authorities

Professional profiles

This Specialist Master's Programme is addressed to the following figures:

  • officers and executives of public healthcare and welfare authorities operating in the administrative, accounting and management areas;
  • officers and executives operating in the administrative, accounting and management areas of regional administrations dedicated to managing social and health care services;
  • officers and executives operating in local administrations interfacing with the operating units of public healthcare and welfare authorities;
  • experts and consultants on health economics and health and welfare integration policies;
  • experts in the field of economic and managerial research in the national and international healthcare and welfare sector;
  • managers of private healthcare and welfare authorities (private clinics, diagnostic centres, nursing homes etc.)
  • managers and experts of supplier companies that have continuous relationships with healthcare and welfare authorities;

Although these professional profiles are principally of interest to the public sector, they are nonetheless also of significant interest to the private, for profit and not-for-profit sectors.

Grants/scholarships: full or partial scholarships covering the registration fee, if given, will be provided by the institution of the instructor
