This Professional Master's Programme aims to provide qualified language teaching training. In addition to supplying in-depth knowledge of teaching and training methods it also equips students with the organizational and planning skills currently required by the job market, thus developing their ability to plan and monitor training paths.
The types of professionals emerging from this course fall into two main categories: those wishing to increase their knowledge of foreign language didactics in order to teach Italian to foreigners (as a foreign or second language) and those intending to work in the area of Italian language and culture promotion who require organisational and planning abilities. Given its specific approach, this Professional Master's Programme is addressed to graduates with experience of teaching Italian to foreigners.
Teachers without certified training in teaching Italian to foreigners (essential requirement for admission to this Master's Programme) can apply for a supplementary on-line training course due to be activated in September, October and November 2013.
The course aims to create graduates who are expert in teaching the Italian language and culture to foreigners and capable of analysing and assessing their progress, as well as experts in the promotion of Italian language and culture who are endowed with organisational and planning capacities.
