Francesco Targhetta was born in Treviso in 1980 and is a high-school literature teacher. He published a collection of poems, Fiaschi, (ExCogita, 2009) and a novel in verse, Perciò veniamo bene nelle fotografie (Isbn, 2012). In 2014 he won the Premio Delfini and the Premio Ciampi, with the booklet Le cose sono due (Valigie Rosse, 2014). Le vite potenziali (Mondadori, 2018), his first prose novel, was shortlisted for the Premio Campiello and won the Premio Berto.
