Jean Flaminien has Gascon origins and was born in Aire-sur-l’Adour in the Landes department. He lived for a long time on the Adour river and in the forest, then in Morocco and in the Netherlands. Among his most famous collections of poems are L’infinitude (2012) and L’homme flottant (2016). He currently lives in Spain.
