Management and Business Studies
The Summer School in Management and Business Studies is a collaboration between the School for International Education and the Department of Management at Ca' Foscari, University of Venice that provides students with the opportunity to gain important skills in the areas of Economics, Management and Business Studies.
The Summer School will take a multidisciplinary approach by using different teaching methods to cover a variety of topics. Each topic will be introduced within its theoretical framework of reference, moving into its extension and diffusion with application possibilities. Related research projects and their empirical implication will also be investigated and each topic will end with a final discussion.
A final workshop in which students discuss a specific topic will be held at the end of the course.All teaching and discussion will be in English.
Prerequisites: a background of the following topics is not necessary, but basic skills in Economics (high school level) are assumed. A B2 Level of English is required.

Excursions and extra-curricular activities
Social and cultural activities may be organised during the programme and could include a visit to the Biennale di Venezia (International Art Exhibition), guided visits to museums and walking tours, as well as other site visits and excursions in Venice and its surroundings. Certain events might require an additional fee to be paid locally.
