This Master’s degree is based around a multidisciplinary training programme with a highly practical approach. The course combines disciplines such as industrial, mechanical and energy engineering, analytical chemistry, applied microbiology, the assessment of risks and environmental impact throughout the life cycle of products and processes, environmental law and the economy of multi-utilities

Graduates will develop the necessary skills to work in the field of industrial biotechnologies, especially in the promotion of renewable resources and renewable energies, with regard to both the chemical, microbiological and engineering aspects of conversion and production processes, and will also learn to assess the environmental impact of these processes

Graduates can become researchers and specialists in laboratories and public and private research and development institutions, in the chemical and biotechnology industry for biomass processing, in multi-utility companies involved with industrial and environmental biotechnologies, or as secondary school science teachers

Graduates with a master’s degree in Environmental Technologies for the Circular Economy typically find work in fields relating to the innovation and development of products and processes and the evaluation and management of complex systems, as both freelance professionals and working for service providers and public authorities
