Amir Alagić

Amir Alagić was born in Banja Luka, Bosnia-Herzegovina, in 1977. In the early 90s he moved to Pula where he currently lives and works. After having published poems and short stories in magazines and anthologies, he made his debut with the collection of short stories “Pod istim nebom” (2010, “Under the same sky”). Later on, Alagić published four novels with the publishing house Durieux in Zagreb. In 2019 he published a second collection of short stories “Linije koje ti nazivaš rijekama” (“Lines called rivers”) from which originates the Italian edition edited by Marija Bradaš and published by Cafoscarina press. Some of his works have been translated into English and French.
