Oksana Zabuzhko

Oksana Zabuzhko (1960), Ukraine’s major writer and public intellectual, author of over twenty books of different genres (poetry, fiction, non-fiction, cultural studies). Her books, of which the novels “Field Work in Ukrainian Sex” (“Польові дослідження з українського сексу”, 1996) and “The Museum of Abandoned Secrets” (“Музей покинутих секретів”, 2010) are the best known, have been translated into seventeen languages and won her many national and international awards (MacArthur Grant, the Ukrainian National Award, the Order of Princess Olha, Angelus Central European Literary Prize, Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, et al.). Her most recent publications are “Your Ad Could Go Here. Stories” (2020) and “Selected Poems” (2020).
