Courses and tutorials

To help users browse bibliographic resources, find books and articles in electronic or paper format, prepare exams, theses and research in the best possible way, the libraries offer:

  • online courses, on the Moodle platform, always available via any device
  • classroom courses organised periodically
  • short video tutorials to explain how to access electronic resources and to present the most important databases

The courses are free and can be general, dedicated to common issues or to specific subject area topics.

General training courses

These are intended to improve knowledge of the library system services and are offered in particular to newly enrolled students on three-year degree programmes.

Specialist training courses

The specialist libraries provide courses both online and in the classroom with the aim of promoting the library, its services and resources and to improve knowledge of tools or databases.

BAS periodically organizes workshops focused on databases and bibliographic search strategy. At the moment they take place remotely.
