Access with EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app

Due to the health emergency and according to the ministerial decrees and the University provisions, to access libraries and book services, University members and all the adult non-university members with University credentials must use EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app and wear a mask.

The terms of access to libraries and services are different depending on whether you are a university member or non-university member.

To access the libraries:

  1. Ca' Foscari members (students, lecturers, researchers, technical and administrative staff, scholarship holders, PhD students, postgraduate students, contractors, research fellows, experts in the field, university graduates for one year after graduation, students from foreign universities under exchange agreements with Ca' Foscari, visiting professors) must use EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app.
    Each library has different number of seating and bookable slots. For more detailed information consult the pages of the libraries.
    Entry is allowed only with the university badge (CartaConto). Freshmen waiting for CartaConto can request a temporary badge to enter the library and access the services through EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app. To know how see the pages of the libraries.

  2. IUAV members: if you are already enrolled in the Ca' Foscari University Library System and have a valid annual library card (contact the libraries in order to verify) you can book the library services through EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app.
    To obtain a new annual card or renew an expired card, fill in the Registration form for the University Libraries’ (annual card) and send it to the email address of the library you want to access with a copy of an ID card. Just send the request to a single library: the registration will automatically be valid for all the others.
    After receiving the confirmation of the registration (within two working days), you can book the services through EasyPlanning.

  3. Alumni: all members of the Alumni Association can access the libraries and the loan and consultation services only by reservation through EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app using the "ucf.xxx" credentials. Alumni members without a card can access the libraries with the rules provided for freshmen waiting for CartaConto (see the pages of the each library).  Premium Alumni could also access the electronic resources (ebooks, electronic magazines, databases) even from home thanks to the "ucf.xxx" credentials.  

  4. (Adult) Non-university members:  if you are already enrolled in the Ca' Foscari University Library System and have a valid annual library card (contact the libraries in order to verify) you can book the library services through EasyPlanning or MyUniVE app.

IUAV library access

Ca' Foscari members can access IUAV library for consultation and loan services from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7.45 pm.

WiFi network access

You can use your laptops or mobile devices inside the libraries connecting the University WiFi network.
Access to the WiFi network is reserved to University users or accredited guests.
Ca' Foscari University is part of the Eduroam Federation.
