What do you teach at Ca’ Foscari? What are your main research interests? 
My name is Luis Luque Toro, I come from Spain. At Ca' Foscari I teach Spanish language and all that it means. I think that knowing your own language is the first step towards learning others. My main interests and areas of research are Language and Mathematics.

The one fitting a teacher who is passionate about what they do, whether in language or science.

What are your professional role models / references?
Those I had in school. As professional references, those who have dedicated their lives to learning more about the roots of Spanish.

Teaching and engaging students.

Passion and dedication.

What has given you the greatest satisfaction in your career?
Mastering what you teach.

The area you have always wanted to be involved in but have not yet had the opportunity to explore?
Mathematics applied to languages. Searching for the origin of languages.

What would you say to young people starting their university career?
Know that you need to learn something every day.
