PhD in Computer science
The research is coordinated by three centers:
Acadia (AdvanCes in Autonomous, DIstributed and pervAsive systems) specializes in distributed and pervasive systems, highly relevant subjects today given the diffusion of smartphones, tablets and other intelligent devices.
Kiis (Knowledge, Interaction and Intelligent Systems) studies how the imposing quantity of information that is readily available in today’s age can be transformed into useful knowledge for the innovation and the improvement of products, services and productive processes.
Dhv (Digital Humanities Venice), a collaboration between Ca’ Foscari, EPF de Lausanne and Telecom Italia, applies information technology to the humanities, providing innovative cultural tools to the digital cities of the future.
