Ca’ Foscari hosts a week-long staff training visit for ADA University

From February 4 to February 8 a delegation from ADA University made a staff training visit to Ca’ Foscari within the framework of the EU-funded project entitled “Strengthening Teaching & Research Capacity”.

The ADA delegation was composed of six representatives from different departments of the university’s administration, including Admission, Student Services, the International Student Office, the Career Management department and the Centre of Excellence in EU Studies. The delegation had several meetings with representatives of different administrative offices and academic bodies at Ca’ Foscari, touching upon various topic such as student support and counselling services, the planning of admission cycles, student career support and guidance, especially through extensive university–private-sector relationships, and EU Studies/Executive Education marketing and branding strategies.

By comparing administrative approaches and discussing Ca’ Foscari’s best practices, the visit was the result of the desire to strengthen ties between Ca’ Foscari and ADA University following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (November 2018) aimed at deepening academic and administrative cooperation.
