The Econometrics Laboratory aims to provide students with the basic tools of econometric practice, it offers the necessary training to properly deal with economic data, interpret them and measure the possible interrelations suggested by economic and financial theories.
The Econometrics Laboratory is a valid complement to the Econometrics course.
The Laboratory focuses on the revision of basic elements of econometrics and on the construction of an econometric model by using economic and financial data of the current economy.
It is expected that students, through individual study and group work, will be able to process economic data, extracting the relevant synthetic information contained therein.
An important aspect is the help given to the student for the choice of an economic topic of his interest, tutoring him during the statistical analysis and the construction of the econometric model.
The knowledge at the elementary level of the theory of estimation and hypothesis testing

-Use of an estimated model as a guide to develop the theoretical contents concernanaing: estimation of regression coefficients and their significance, residual diagnostics, selection of regressors. Applications of the estimated model
