The Legal Institution Minor aims to provide a basic knowledge of principles of law, especially those concerning comparative, international law and asian legal systems in a multidisciplinary perspective.
Acquisition of basic knowledge concerning the main legal principles of international law and Asian legal systems. Through individual or group works, students will acquire skills in research methodologies and they will develop a critical approach.
Knowledge of English language
The course will be concentrated on introducing fundamentals aspects of comparative law and international law with a focus on Asian legal systems. It will be virtually divided into three parts: 1) introduction to law (international and comparative law); 2) Asian legal systems; 3) single topic lectures (rule of law, labor law, family law).

Learning can also be assessed during the course through short intermediate tests.
The minor program will be structured and developed in order to facilitate an active participation of the class through lectures, seminars and small group work, experts invited to give a talk.
