Agenda

Open to the public as well as to Ca’ Foscari students, this workshop offers a guided process for exploring the connections between ourselves and our environment through poetry. Within the peaceful garden of Ca’ Rezzonico, we’ll learn several poetic techniques we can use to engage more closely with the natural processes around us. We’ll follow that with guided writing prompts in the garden, calling on our five senses to capture what we’re noticing in language. We’ll then have some private writing time to shape these observations into a poem. Bring a notebook and writing tool that you can carry comfortably.
