When Waters Speak #3 – Water Walks

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd webinar of the series “When Waters Speak” will be held on November 12th, with the title “Water Walks”, from 1pm to 2,30pm CET, in cooperation with the UNESCO Chair based at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice and the University of Oxford

WaterWalks is a global water monitoring project managed by LUDWIG to raise awareness about rivers-related rapidly changing environments. The project aims at building a database on rivers with the help of citizens, artists, and scientists through a dedicated app, where stories, conversations, pictures, sounds, videos, and water-quality measurements can be shared. The webinar will feature a screening of The Song of the Ox composed by Kate Moore, which will be discussed then by invited artists and scientists. In the morning, before the webinar, a few speakers will walk along rivers and document their personal experience through the WaterWalks app.

Anyone can follow the live stories of WaterWalks (starting from 10am CET) at: www.waterwalks.nl
