VSM lecture held by Lotta Salin - UEF University of Eastern Finland

Abstract: In this seminar, Dr. Lotta Salin, postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland, shares practical insights and encouragement for doctoral students aiming to complete their PhD efficiently while maintaining motivation and well-being. The seminar also provides concrete advice on academic writing and publishing for early career researchers, including how to select journals, manage co-authorship, and recognize when a paper is “good enough.” In addition, Salin will reflect on the importance of collaboration, international networking, peer support, and work–life balance during the PhD process.
