The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Decisions in Medicine and Surgery

Auditorium Danilo Mainardi - Campus scientifico, via Torino 155, Venezia Mestre

This initiative stems from the recognition that Artificial Intelligence represents one of the major technological transformations set to impact the evolution of healthcare systems, the delivery of care, and clinical decision-making processes.

Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Surgery are progressively influencing areas such as diagnosis, predictive medicine, clinical research, personalized treatments, patient safety, healthcare organization, and resource management. While these developments offer significant opportunities to enhance appropriateness, efficiency, and quality of care, they simultaneously raise important scientific, professional, organizational, ethical, and legal questions.

The Conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for discussion among physicians, surgeons, computer scientists, legal experts, and healthcare management professionals, with a particular focus on practical experiences and the management of complex cases in daily clinical practice. The event will feature prominent figures from the medical-scientific community, including directors of medical specialties, internationally renowned surgeons, and the Presidents of the Società Triveneta di Chirurgia (Triveneto Society of Surgery).

The event is accredited for Continuing Medical Education (CME/ECM) and participation is free of charge, subject to seat availability. To review the full programme, view the event poster, and register, please visit the dedicated webpage at the following link [ITA]
