LUDWIK FLECK IN DISCUSSION. Science, society and pluralism

Aula Valent, Palazzo Malcanton Marcorà

This workshop brings together recent work on Ludwik Fleck (1896-1961) to reassess the epistemological significance of his account of thought collectives and styles of thinking. By examining Fleck’s reception and legacy, the event aims to clarify his place in historically and sociologically informed philosophy of science and its relevance for contemporary debates on scientific pluralism.

This event is part of the HISTEPS | WG activities. HISTEPS | WG is part of the project SCIPLU and is jointly coordinated by Dr. Matteo Vagelli (DFBC, Ca' Foscari University of Venice), and Prof. Roberto Gronda (CFS, University of Pisa).
