VeDPH members and affiliates at AIUCD2026

The full programme of AIUCD2026, the annual conference of AIUCD (the Italian Association for Digital Humanities and Digital Culture), is now online. The conference will take place in Cagliari from 3 to 5 June 2026 and will focus on the theme Digital and Public Engagement: Practices and Perspectives in the Digital Humanities.

The Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities has a long-standing engagement with the AIUCD community, both through research contributions and through service to the Association. Marina Buzzoni, member of the VeDPH, currently serves as AIUCD President, while Emmanuela Carbé and Paolo Monella serve on the Association’s Executive Board. In the run-up to the conference, this engagement is also taking shape through Aspettando AIUCD 2026, the online seminar series coordinated by Emmanuela Carbé and Federico Boschetti in collaboration with Raffaele Argiolas and the local organising team at the University of Cagliari, the host institution of this year’s conference.

Several members and affiliates of the VeDPH will contribute to the conference programme, with papers and presentations addressing a broad range of topics across the Digital Humanities: public engagement and archaeological heritage, FAIR research products, digital philology, quantitative approaches to literary texts, artificial intelligence, accessibility, controlled vocabularies, and integrated environments for bibliographical, philological and iconographic research.
