Accessible route  (15 minutes)

Take one of the following water buses:

• Line 2 from the Ferrovia stop (Scalzi B landing stage);
• Line 2 (S. Chiara E landing stage) or Line 6 (Parisi C landing stage) from the Piazzale Roma stop;
• Line 2 from the Tronchetto stop (Tronchetto DX landing stage);

then get off at the San Basilio stop. Head down the Calle del Vento (opposite the stop), cross Campo San Basilio (street sign gives name as “Campo San Basegio”) and continue along the street alongside the canal (the first stretch of which is called Fondamenta San Baseggio before turning into Fondamenta San Sebastiano).
At the end turn right into the Fondamenta del Soccorso and keep going almost to the end, then cross the bridge (non-accessible) on the left just before Campo dei Carmini.
Turn right then continue along Fondamenta Malcanton.
The entrance to Palazzo Vendramin ai Carmini is on the left about half way down the fondamenta.

Building accessibility

The building is not accessible.
There is one step to enter the courtyard.
From the ground floor it is possible to reach the offices of the Confucius Institute on the left (with two steps). On the right there is an elevator (with one step to get to the first landing, followed by three steps) that requires a key which must be requested at the reception desk on the first floor of the building.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets on the ground floor, on the left after one step. The key must be requested to the Confucius Institute (in the building on the left). Please not that the Institute is not always open.
