Research topics

Development of Bio and nanomaterials in oncology

In collaboration with the National Cancer Center of Aviano, the University of Pisa (Prof. Tiziano Tuccinardi and Carlotta Granchi) and Temple University (Prof. Antonio Giordano) the research group is developing new nanopharmaceuticals based on biocompatible materials (e.g. DNA, liposomes, exosomes).

Development of innovative Biobanks in Oncology

In collaboration with the National Cancer Center of Aviano (Dr. Vincenzo Canzonieri) new biomolecular and cellular approaches are being developed for the creation of biobanks derived from healthy tissues and tumors from cancer patients.
