The floor to students

Simone De Vito talks about why he chose the Business Administration degree programme.

The interview was conducted by the team of Radiocafoscari, the University web radio hosted and managed by Ca' Foscari students.

Why did you choose this degree programme?

I chose the degree programme in Business Administration because I have always been fascinated by the world of business organisation and management; moreover, given that the economy is closely linked to everyday life, I think it is necessary to be able to understand the dynamics and mechanisms behind the evolution of the business environment.

What do you like about this degree programme?

The subjects that have most sparked my interest are Macroeconomics, Finance and Statistics. Studying Economic Policy was really stimulating and helped me develop critical thinking; Statistics, on the other hand, I already liked in high school, but I found it far more interesting when applied to business.

How would you describe the Ca' Foscari experience?

I really like what I am seeing at Ca' Foscari. The professors and lecturers are good at teaching and conveying their passion for the subjects; I have become friends with many of my fellow students, who have inspired and taught me a lot.
