The School for International Education takes over the Summer School commitment towards the sustainability goals of the University, including the theme of sustainability in its programs and organizing events and initiatives in the field of environmental and social sustainability.
Sustainability is a theme crossing different programs of the School, specially some courses of the International Summer Schools and some summer workshops.
Topics such as renewable energies, climate changes, environment conservation, social inequality are trated with the added value o fan International perspective.

The School participates in the project “BookCrossing” at the premises in San Sebastiano. The School also promotes and favors sustainable behaviors among its staff, aiming to reduce pollution, limit energy consumption, adopt waste recycling, increase dematerialization, and have an increasing attention to social problems.
