​​Christof Mauch is director of the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in Munich, as well as chair in American Culture and Transatlantic Relations at Ludwig-Maximilians Universitaet Munich. He is also an affiliated professor in the History Faculty of LMU Munich and an honorary professor and honorary fellow at the Center for Ecological History at Renmin University in China.
