Current Position
Associate Professor of Statistics, Scientific-Disciplinary Sector STAT-01/A, at the Venice School of Management, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

Education
Degree in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Padua.
Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Padua.

Research Activity
Her main research interests concern the development and improvement of methodologies for the statistical modeling of complex high-dimensional systems. Particular attention is devoted to probabilistic graphical models, such as Bayesian Networks, for analyzing probabilistic dependence and independence relationships in multidimensional systems characterized by strong heterogeneity, such as in personalized medicine contexts. Other research interests involve the development and application of problem-oriented methodologies for the analysis of data related to marketing and business research. Her publications are available at this link.

She has participated in numerous interdisciplinary research activities involving national and international collaborations within national and European projects, such as BLOOM – Building Lead Optimization Over Large Molecular Spaces, MEDIUM – New Pathways for Sustainable Urban Development in China’s Medium-Sized Cities, and DC-ren – Drug Combinations for Rewriting Trajectories of Renal Pathologies in Type II Diabetes. For the latter project, she served as the scientific lead for the development of Bayesian Networks in constructing statistical models for renal pathologies in type II diabetes within the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice unit.

Teaching Activity
Her teaching activity primarily focuses on introductory Statistics courses for undergraduate students and courses on statistical methodologies applied to marketing and business research for master’s students at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She has also taught the course Statistical Models for Management Studies for the Ph.D. program in Management at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
