How has the pandemic affected the European system of governance? What role have European cities played in facing this health crisis and its social and economic effects? In what way has the pandemic influenced the relationship among local, regional and national authorities? In this international conference, political scientists, sociologists and geographers will explore these and a number of related questions using comparative and interdisciplinary perspectives.
The event is organised as part of the EU Differentiation, Dominance and Democracy (EU3D) research project and is hosted by Ca' Foscari University of Venice, in collaboration with the University of Oxford and the University of Oslo.
The event will be held in the Aula Baratto by invitation only.
The conference will be also held online via Zoom. Registration is required:
