The course allows students to acquire knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of educational technologies applied to general education and specifically to the teaching of modern languages. The aim of the course is to develop knowledge about the basic principles of learning theories, didactic models and technologies (formal and informal), highlighting the relationships of technologies with the stages of development, culture, gender and disability. The course foresees the application of these principles through the educational game, analogical and digital, as a transversal field of educational application for the learning and learning of modern languages.
Knowledge and understanding: to demonstrate basic knowledge of educational technologies; learning theories, didactic models and technologies; relationships of technologies with the stages of development, culture, gender and disability, through educational applications of the game, analogical and digital.

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: to demonstrate that one can recognize, distinguish and identify the different theories, approaches and models underlying educational projects involving the use of technologies, through the examples presented during the course.

Autonomy of judgement: to demonstrate critical processing skills based on the learning processes implemented with/through environments/methods/digital/technological instruments.

Communicative skills: demonstrate mastery of a basic specialist vocabulary of the discipline to communicate clearly and unambiguously with the main actors in the school environment (teachers, pupils, parents, school manager, school advisors, etc.).

Learning skills: demonstrate autonomy in the updating of teaching and educational technologies, in order to operate in a qualified way in future teaching and training work contexts.
The course of Didactics of modern languages mod. 1 and mod. 2 are complementary: the mod. 2 deals with the evaluation and it is an integral part of the topics of the Educational Technology developed in mod. 1.
Basic principles of educational technologies. Learning theories, teaching models and technologies. Relationships between technologies and the stages of development, culture, gender and disability through educational applications of the game, analogical and digital, for language learning, in formal and informal.

Students who attend the course and carry out the activities in the presence and online, will acquire a score that is added to the evaluation of the final test.
