Within the degree course in “Conservation and Management of Cultural Heritage”, the course provides the basic tools for the study of the history of art criticism and artistic literature.
It is especially concerned with the analysis of Jacopo Tintoretto’s historical figure and artistic activity, examining the aspect of his critical fortune in the Venetian and international context.
The course is placed in a specific section of the study plan dedicated to the study and research methodology on art history.
Knowledge of Jacopo Tintoretto's activity. Understanding of the importance of direct vision of his works.Knowledge of recognizing artist's works of art and poetic.
It is necessary to pass the exam of Artistic Literature 1, of which this teaching is a complementary practical application.
Knowledge of Jacopo Tintoretto's artistic activity. Knowledge of the history of his paintings, especially if preserved in Venice.
