The final evaluation will be based on a written final exam and on the analysis of a real corporate or investment banking case (ex. M&A, debt restructuring, private equity, ...).

The written exam will consist of 15 multiple-choice questions. A correct answer is worth 2 points, a wrong answer -0.25, no answer 0 points.
During the exam, it is not possible to use notes, books, slides or any other material, cell phones or other devices. The exam verifies the general knowledge of the students over the course topics. To pass the student needs to have at least 18 points. In the case of decimals, the grade will be rounded up or down to the nearest grade. The exam can be taken during the formal exam dates only.

The analysis of a real case, chosen by the students and approved by the instructor, needs to be structured as a written report (the exact structure will be discussed in class). The case analysis is a group project, where groups can have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 individuals. Once the report is handed in, it cannot be changed/improved in any ways. The report will be graded on a the usual scale, where passing grades are 18-30. The maximum possible grade awarded to the report is 30/30.

The final grade will be the average of the written exam and report grades. The student passes the exam if the average grade is greater or equal to 18.
Tdistinction will be awarded at the discretion of the instructor.

The course will be characterized by frontal lectures by the instructor and guided class discussions. The course materials will be available through Moodle. It is possible that some professional guests will be invited to some lectures.
