The course covers European public law and is aimed at examining the basic organizational structure and ways of functioning of the two main European supranational organizations: the Union and the Council of Europe.
The course aims to provide the basic knowledge of European public Law. The course focuses on the main european institutions, their jurisdictions and their relationships.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to use in practice the knowledge acquired.
No specific pre-requirements are asked to students.

Written and oral exam.
Written test with multiple choice questions for attending students.
Written test (multiple choice questions and open-ended questions) and oral test for non attending students
Lectures and seminars on judicial cases.
For each argument treated during the lectures, students will be called to analyse specific cases and will be expected to actively contribute to the discussions in class
Attending students will be asked to prepare a power point presentation on a specific issue.
