The course deals with International Law, the legal framework that rules the relationships between States and independent organizations, and aims to offer the instruments to analyze the interaction between international law and national laws in the light of the way each legal order creates, ascertains and enforces its rules. The course also aims to analyze the consequences of the breach of the international rules, paying attention in particular to the United Nations system.

At the end of the course the student will have acquired basic knowledge of international law that will allow him / her to communicate what has been learned to specialists and non-interlocutors specialists.
In addition, the student will have developed the learning skills that will be necessary to undertake further studies with adequate autonomy.
