This course falls within the core activities of the "Korea" curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree Programme in "Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa".
Its formative objectives fall within the area of language skills learning.
1. Knowledge and understanding
- to consolidate the knowledge of the grammatical structures of intermediate Korean;
- to complete the knowledge of intermediate Korean writing and vocabulary with elements of specialized vocabulary;
- to know and understand the functioning of the grammatical structures of intermediate Korean;
- to know and understand variations in the register and communication pragmatics of intermediate Korean;
- to know and understand key concepts and terminology to describe scientifically the phenomena studied in class.

2. Applying knowledge and understanding:
- to demonstrate a general understanding of grammar and phrase structures of the Korean language;
- to be able to read, comprehend and summarize effectively intermediate Korean texts;
- to be able to interact in all the communicative situations indicated by the B2 level of the CEFR;
- to be able to comprehend and put together oral and written texts as indicated by the B2 level of the CEFR;
- to be able to translate from Korean into Italian intermediate written texts, following the guidelines provided by the lecturers during the course;
- to be able to use the electronic dictionary and other translation tools efficiently.

3. Communication:
- written and oral comprehension and production skills and oral interaction required by the B2 level of the CEFR;
- to be able, during classes, to interact with one's peers, lecturers and lectors in a critical and respectful way.

Have completed Korean Language 2.1 and 2.2 (Lower Intermediate Korean)
During the semester the following grammatical forms are studied:

1 lession- transferentive copula, non solo ... ma anche, ma ora / e ora
2 lession- non sono sicuro, N affatto / niente affatto N
3 lession- Non è ma è ..., la particella '으로', sulla propria strada
4 lession- citazione diretta, citazione indiretta
5 lession- la forma suppositiva, di suggerimento
6 lession- fare finta di fare,
7 lession- la forma ‘만큼’ , la forma abilità, la forma metodo
8 lession– la forma retrospettiva (frase, modificatore, condizionale)
9 lession– la forma estensiva, di conferma, sequenziale
10 lession- anche dopo ... con, è naturale
11 lession-la forma causale (negativo)
12 lession- essere basato su, possibilità
13 lession- proverbio, ripetizione, la forma non conclusiva in '-더니'
14 lession- la forma '-거든요', la forma ‘-(으)ㄹ 만하다’
15 lession- riepilogo e simulazione d'esame

Additional materials will be distributed in the classroom or at the beginning of the lessons.
Written and oral exam, with questions on grammar, colloquial forms, small compositions. The test lasts at least one hour.
Grammar lessons and exercises with native speaker teacher.
An active participation is required in order to develop a linguistic self-consciousness through all the exercises presented in class by the teacher. Attendance is not compulsory but strongly recommended.
