The course of "Principles of Business Management" has the primary goal of introducing the basic tools for understanding the discipline. More specifically, the objectives of the course are:
1. To introduce the basic concepts on corporate system and on the competitive environment in which it operates.
2. To analyze its strategic management, with a particular focus on organization, marketing, innovation, and sustainability.
1. Knowledge and understanding:
- basic terms of management and marketing,
- key concepts of corporate system.
2. Applying knowledge:
-applying models and concepts to case studies.
3. Judgement skills:
-evaluate critically strategic actions of enterprises.
4. Communication skills:
-ability to interact with peers and tutor in reflections on managerial and strategic topics.
5. Learning skills:
-ability of elaborating contents of references,
-ability of consulting different forms of informative materials (i.e., books, articles, enterprises' websites, videos).
