During the course the general aspects of the discipline are introduced: the historical genesis of anthropological thought, the methods of empirical and theoretical research. Examples of the application of anthropology to the critical analysis of the contemporary and in particular of the school will be studied in depth.
N.B. The exam is worth 6 CFU for the purpose of recognizing the valid credits for the attainment of the 24 credits necessary for access to future initial training courses, internships and insertion in the teaching function for secondary school teachers (FIT).
Ability to understand the texts read and to articulate a synthesis of the concepts acquired.

The final exam will consist in a written part and it takes into account tests that the students will carry on every week in the Moodle platform. Because of the COVID-19 emergency the final exam will be taken on Moodle platform.
The scores obtained in the three online tests, which are mandatory, do not compromise the admission to the final exam; for more details, see the course page on Moodle.
