The teaching of Methodology and General Education is part of the exams offered by the University in the PF24cfu, Training Courses for the achievement of the 24 training credits necessary for access to the competition for teaching in secondary schools of 1st and 2nd grade. Area D - Scientific Disciplinary Sector M / PED 03 (Education and Special Pedagogy)
Knowledge and understanding: Know and analyze critically the didactic design models, teaching methods and techniques and evaluation activities.

Applying knowledge and understanding: Apply the methodological-didactic knowledge acquired with the study and personal experience, in school educational situations, to face and solve organizational, design, methodological and evaluative questions in the teaching of their subjects.

Making judgements: Collect, select, analyze and interpret data, information and knowledge to design educational paths; to argue organizational, design, methodological and evaluative choices; to detect the educational, ethical and social implications connected to the didactic action.

Communication skills: Being able to communicate information, ideas, concepts, define methodological problems and propose resolving strategies by discussing and arguing
with students, teachers, managers and decision makers of training policies.

Learning skills: Promote learning transfer from and through training practices, working and interacting in the complexity of teaching contexts.

Since the participants come from different university study courses, some have teaching experiences and others do not, access conditions and requirements cannot be defined.

1. Project work activities: Planning of a teaching / learning activity by skills (to be prepared and sent before the exam) - The activity takes place partly in small groups (4 people) and partly individually. On the day of the exam, immediately after the written test, the groups meet with the tutors.

2. Online test: it consists of 35 multiple choice questions, to be carried out in 30 minutes. The online test can also be carried out on the day before the written test (from 8.00 to 20.00), from any location in the world connected to the internet. A small part of the 30 exam questions is taken from the archive of questions proposed during the course.

3. Written test consisting of two open-ended questions, one in reference to the methodology and one in reference to the processes analyzed in the project work.
