The course aims at providing an overview of the impact of new technologies on tourism, their relevance on the development of the sector, and how the main actors manage them.
At the end of the course the student will be able to identify and evaluate the most common technological tools for the promotion and management of tourist activities.
Basic computing knowledge (basic functions of the operating system, web browsing, e-mail, Office working suites, search engines).

Final written test comprising open-ended and multiple choice questions.
At the end of the course students can choose to present a detailed study on a subject of their interest. Such study will be carried out during hands-on weekly labs held during lectures.
