Aim of the class is to give an overview of laws that discipline activities related with tourism, be it in the business management or in the public administration. Insights are provided over governement and local public structures that intervene with support and regulatory means in the tourism organization.
1. Knowledge and understanding
1.1 To know the regulatory system and the multilevel administrative apparatus in charge of the discipline and organization of the tourism phenomenon.
1.2 Know the individual institutions of public and administrative law present in the sector legislation.
1.3 Understanding the role that these institutions play in relation to relations between public administration, tourists, businesses and operators in the tourism sector.

2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
2.1 Knowing how to frame the single legal institutes within the organizational apparatus responsible for tourism policies.
2.2 Knowing how to identify the individual legal regulations or the various sets of them aimed at regulating specific sectors of the phenomenon.
2.3 Acquisition of the knowledge of institutions, distinguishing the function specifically performed by each of them in the model of the public apparatus in charge of sector policies and in the context of relations between public administration, tourists, businesses and operators in the tourism sector.

3. Ability to judge
3.1 Interpret the normative texts.
3.2 Identify, distinguish and relate the principles and norms contained in the various sources of multilevel law.
3.3 Linking the legal institutions together and recomposing them to unity in the context of the public apparatus in charge of sector policies and in the context of relations between public administration, tourists, businesses and operators in the tourism sector.
