Recognize the characteristics of the psycho-physical-social well-being condition by helping to promote and disseminate lifestyles that respect proper nutrition and safety, to protect the right to health and well-being of people, identifying the most suitable ways to promote a lifestyle healthy life.
Identify the main needs of users according to the bio-psycho-social approach, focusing on the centrality of the person.
Facilitate communication between people and groups, including those of different cultures and contexts through specific language and adequate relationship systems
Disseminate the most suitable hygiene rules for the prevention of chronic and infectious social diseases.
Recognize the risk factors
Recognize the areas of intervention, the subjects who provide services and their skills
Guide the user to use the national health system
Knowledge and understanding: the multidimensionality of the concept of health will be enhanced, by clarifying the role of all the actors who contribute to the determinism of health itself, of the need for synergies and of the ways in which they are achieved;
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: the course includes preliminary contents of epidemiological methodology, in which the information useful to define the health profile of a community will be illustrated, health education will be thematized and the various health communication methodologies will be examined the general population and characterized groups will be shown how to identify the population's emerging health problems and how to acquire up-to-date skills to address these issues;
Autonomy of Judgment for a conscious autonomy of judgment with reference to the evaluation of teaching;
Ability to learn for the development and deepening of further skills, with reference to basic cognitive tools for the continuous updating of knowledge.
Participation in relationships with active listening and empathy

The course aims to give students a global and integrated vision of the concept of health and disease with greater attention to issues related to the community open to migratory flows, peculiar to a dynamic and fluid society. At the end of the course the student must demonstrate that he has acquired the knowledge put in place in the didactic-training path, for a better understanding of those issues related to the learning of skills, abilities and knowledge relating to the professional figure put in place. , therefore, skills and methods for an understanding and an approach aimed at facing and clarifying complex problems.

The method of verifying the profit, aimed at ascertaining the adequate preparation of the students and the ability to effectively communicate the topics covered by the teaching carried out, is written, with a mark expressed out of thirty; the learner must provide for the drafting of a written paper, on topics covered by the lectures, to be presented to the teacher in compliance with the timing and procedures established for the examination This assessment, always individual, takes place in conditions that guarantee the deepening, objectivity and fairness of the assessment in relation to with the course provided.
