The 5 practice class related to the main module (ECONOMICS OF INNOVATION, GROWTH THEORY AND ECONOMICS DEVELOPMENT-1) aim to support the class for the group project that is proposed in the main module.
In particular, in this version of the module, students will be asked to apply the studied concepts and thematics to the composition of policy evaluation reports regarding contemporary issues (i.e., electoral programs, trademarks, patents, IP law).
At the end of the practices the student will improve her/his skills in:
- Gathering data on macroeconomic variables
- Elaborating and analyse data
- Structuring and writing a policy report
- Presenting the main result
To attend the practices, the student must be enrolled in [ET7017-1 ES] ECONOMICS OF INNOVATION, GROWTH THEORY AND ECONOMICS DEVELOPMENT-1
In the five practice class, the student will be supported in the comprehension and elaboration of the thematics explained in the main classes and in the preparation of the group works.
The material will be delivered and/or gathered during the practice class.
The practices do not have direct evaluation. Nevertheless, an active participation is strongly recommended as it is fundamental for the correct progress of the group works, which will be then presented during the main classes and that will constitute a significative portion of the final grade.
The practice classes require an active engagement of the student in order to engage with the group and with the teacher in order to fulfil the project milestones.
