This course is part of the minor "Impresa, Banche, Lavoro e Fisco". The objective is to provide students with basic knowledge in business and management, useful for operating in a business environment. The participants will be introduced to the concepts and the language useful for interpreting business phenomena, understanding the main business activities and decisions and identify their economic consequences thorough the annual report
1 KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
- knowledge and understanding of the role of business entities in the economic activity;
- knowledge and understanding of the typology of business entities and their main characteristics;
- knowledge and understanding of the main activities performed by business entities and within business entities;
- knowledge and understanding of the rationale for analyzing the economic effects of business activity my means of the annual report.
2 ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE
- to be able to interpret real world economic phenomena in light of the concepts and model of business economics;
- to understand the distinctive features of real business entities;
- to be able to read the annual statement and to interpret the main information it provides.

Final exam is a 20 multiple choice questions, 30 minutes time.
Questions will ascertain the knowledge of the basic concepts presented in the course, the capability to apply to simple examples.
The course will be based on on-line teaching and video lessons.
