The course will provide students with an introduction to the use of spatial information systems for the analysis of environmental data,useful to support the other skills acquired in this Master's degree course.

Teaching materials made available by the instructor through the Moodle web site.
The final exam consists of a written test (open questions), and a final report on the results of applied activities.
The course foresees a series of lectures making use of powerpoint presentations made available to students since the beginning of the course and individual / group works conducted by students and reported back to the class at the end of the course.
The Moodle platform is used for on-line communication with students.
