HISTORY OF MEDIEVAL ITALIAN STATES

The teaching offers within the course of study a deepening of the political and institutional events of an ancient Italian State from the late Middle Age to the early modern Age. In this case it deals with the Venetian mainland State from its establishment to the wars of Italy.
The teaching figure among the characterizing in the Common path of the degree course in History and between the historical-literary subjects, modernistic course, of the degree course in History of Arts and artistic goods.

Knowledge of the main political and institutional characteristics of the Venetian mainland State from its establishment to the early decades of the sixteenth century.

No prerequisite is required.

Public authorities and private powers in the Venetian mainland State from its establishment to the wars of Italy.

Attending students:
Oral examination which consists in questions on topics that are explained during the course and in the book given in bibliography.
No attending students:
Oral examination which consists in questions on books given in bibliography (see no attending students program).

Conventional. Six hours frontal weekly attendance for five weeks. Thirty hours as whole.

Old syllabus students (4+4 cfu), attending and no-attending, are requested to refer to the teacher before the beginning of the course to agree upon a shorter (4 cfu) or an ampler (8 cfu) prospectus.
The attendance is not compulsory but greatly recommended.
