The module, included in the broader course in "Economics and work of digital innovation", deals with the relationship between the current professional needs of companies and the wider context of the labour market. In particular, will be investigated the actors and the actual structure of the labour market, which is increasingly influenced by the need for flexibility required by companies and by the new sharing economy jobs.
Will be also examined the relationship between the individual human resource and its insertion and development within a dynamic labour market that requires frequent transitions throughout the individual's professional life.
The aim is to provide students with a compass to be able to orient themselves independently within the dynamics of the labour market and to approach with awareness the career choices during the professional life
1. Knowledge and comprehension
- Knowledge of the labor market, its dynamics and its actors
- Knowledge of the relationship and dynamics between job supply and demand
- Understanding of the dynamics of insertion and development of human resources in the company and in the labour market context

2. Analysis capabilities
- Ability to analyze the relationship between contractual schemes and companies needs
- Ability to analyze effective transitions within the labor market
- Ability to analyze the dynamics of intermediation between job supply and demand

3. Judgment skills
- Ability to assess the socio-economic impact of the labor market dynamics
- Ability to assess the impact of business model and choices referring to the employment relationships on individual human resources and on the reference social context
- Ability to assess the importance of active labour market policies and training during the professional life

4. Learning skills
- Ability to learn the interconnections and the effects that the employment policy choices have on the market and on the socio-economic context of reference
- Ability to learn about new reforms and new labor market institution
- Ability to learn human resource business development models within the company
