The aim of the course is to introduce future teachers to the acquisition of those basic elements that allow them to understand cultural diversity and world views through the enhancement of differences.
During the course the general aspects of the discipline are introduced: the historical genesis of anthropological thought, the methods of empirical and theoretical research. Examples of the application of anthropology to the critical analysis of the contemporary and in particular of the school will be studied in depth.
N.B. The exam is worth 6 CFU for the purpose of recognizing the valid credits for the attainment of the 24 credits necessary for access to future initial training courses, internships and insertion in the teaching function for secondary school teachers (FIT).
Ability to understand the texts read and to articulate a synthesis of the concepts acquired.
The course aims to provide a first approach to understanding cultural diversity and the socio-cultural dynamics of belonging.

The exam will consist in a written part and it takes into account tests that the students will carry on every week in the moodle platform.
