In the second module, the students will learn the basic principles of database design and how to interact with them. During the course students will acquire knowledge on storing, managing, and retrieving information in a database.
The aim is to provide students with an adequate knowledge of fundamental concepts for designing and interacting with sql databases.
Basic computing knowledge (basic functions of the operating system, web browsing, e-mail, Office working suites).

There will be regular assignments. The exam will be one for both mod. 1 and 2.
The exam is a written test consisting of open-ended and multiple choice questions, as well as programming exercises.
