This course is mandatory for students who have not passed the Written Italian Language Access Test for Department of Languages, Civilisation and Language's Sciences and Translating and Interpreting degree program in Treviso. This course aims to fill possible linguistic gaps, in particular with regard to phonology, morphology, syntax, spelling, writing in general and academic writing and also the comprehension of the texts .
This course aims to develop language skills and to fill gaps with contrastive analysis with other languages that have been studied.
There are no prerequisites
Spoken and written language. Basic skills in Italian grammar and writing: ortography, punctuation, morphology and syntax, lexicon. Reading and comprehension: text typologies, structure of the text, allegorical figures and knowledge of academic writing.

The exams will be oral, in-person. Questions on the final exam will be on all sections taught during the course.
