The course aims at providing some basic knowledge about the tourism industry, defining its players and their relationships. The main goal of the course is to provide analytical and management tools useful to understand competitive dynamics and to define marketing strategies.
At the end of the course students are expected to have acquired the knowledge necessary to understand the specificities of the tourism industry, the main actors and the relationship systems that come into being in the production and consumption processes. Students will also acquire the ability to autonomously apply the concepts and theoretical models proposed during the course to analyze and understand the dynamics of the competitive environment and marketing choices.

The exam is written and will be organized in three open questions
The test will last 45 minutes

An exam text with which to practice will be made available on the moodle pages of the course.

Students will be given also the opportunity to integrate the grade of the final exam with group-works that will be presented in class.

Group work will be proposed during the course. Membership is optional and the work, if completed correctly, provides a bonus of 1 to 3 points to be added to the score obtained in the written test.

It is essential that students constantly refer to the moodle space and to the indications and materials that will be uploaded there during the course.
